Raster-NotonやLucyのStroboscopic Artefactsレーベルからのリリース、世界各地のベストなアンダーグラウンドなフェスや、日本ではThe Labyrinthにも出演しエクスペリメンタル・フィールドを大きく飛び越えてテクノシーンでも話題のKangding Rayが、11月17日に開催されるVENTの大人気パーティーMind Offに出演決定！！

近年Kangding Rayの作品はよりオーガニックなテクノ作品へと様式を変えてきた。それはまるで精神と肉体の間と同じ様に、自然と人工物との間の緊張感を模索するかのようだ。Mind Offのパーティーのテーマはこのコンセプトと完璧に一致し、だからこそ今回Kangding Rayを招聘できることを大変嬉しく思っている。

Kangding Rayはもともと建築家であり、だからこそ彼の音楽作品が緻密に構成されていということが容易にわかるだろう。彼は音楽の建築家でもあり、彼の音楽的な創造性には境界がない。最近発表してきたテクノ作品でも彼のアバンギャルドなスタイルは、強烈に美しいものや機能的な何かの上に聴こえてくるかのようだ。

今回のMind Offでもメインフロアには、毎回素晴らしいセットを披露してくれるFragmentor (Ribbon Recordings, Follow The Flow)と、レジデントであるDani Savant、初登場となるBun Satoが出演し、スリックでスタイリッシュなサウンドを送り出してくれるだろう。Kangding Rayと東京が誇るベストDJたちと共に精神を解き放つ準備はできているだろうか？

Mind Off is back again at Vent with experimental, modern techno artist Kangding Ray on November 17.

He has releases on labels such as RASTER-NOTON and LUCY’S, STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS, and appears at some of the best underground festivals in the world including Labyrinth.

Recently his sound has morphed into a form of organic Techno which explores the tension between the natural and artificial as well as the body and mind. The theme of Mind Off fits in perfectly with this same concept which is why we are so excited to showcase this artist.

Kangding Ray used to be an architect by profession which is why it is really easy to tell why the production in is tracks is constructed so meticulously. He is a sound architect who has no boundaries in his creation and building of music. Even in his recent work with techno we can still hear and feel his avant-garde style overlapped with something strong beautiful and functionally powerful.

He is joined in the Main Room by Fragmentor (Ribbon Recordings, Follow The Flow) who has been delivering relentless sets at Mind Off as well as Dani Savant’s mesmerizing sounds and Bun Saito who’s debut for this part will bring a slick and stylish sound to the Mind Off dance floor.
